We Can Co-operate!

In P.E. we are learning about teamwork! We are enjoying cooperative games that give us the opportunity to demonstrate our awesome teamwork!

We are getting super speedy!
On Tuesday we had P.E. and we got to play some great games! First we made a circle and joined up hands. Miss Park gave us a hula hoop and we had to try to pass it around our circle without breaking contact. It's pretty tricky when you can't use your hands! We quickly figured out that we could do it much quicker if we worked together.

Nice teamwork Gypsy and Harmony!
Next we played Hungry Hungry Caterpillars! We got into a boy line and a girl line. We had hula hoops to be the segments of the caterpillars body. We could have up to two people in each segment, except for the last segment which could have three people in it. The aim of the game was to gobble up caterpillar food (tennis balls). We had to move forward, which we did by passing segments along the line and putting them in front of the caterpillars head. Then our line shuffled forwards! We had such fun gobbling up tennis balls!

Those boys know how to move the hoops quickly!
The boys figured out their own strategy to pass the hoops along and throw the tennis balls!

We love taking risks!
The girls had a different strategy to try and move quickly; they jumped from hoop to hoop to move further.

Room 10 is so clever, Miss Park is so lucky to have us as a class!

Check back again soon!

Love from Room 10 and Miss Park
